Happy Grad-day

Time slipped by..., it's coming to an end of CBel's secondary school life here in DCCS.

Cheering erupted from the Lower Campus for "Senior Send off" time for their graduation.

Loved seeing so many of students in the video. We want to thank each of them that took time to share, and also those that spoke spontaneously.  We could clearly see them each were speaking from their hearts!

Thank you for being bold with their words, it really touched me personally to hear the many stories and good and bad experiences, and how God has been and will continue to be faithful.

CBel has included the video below that the students made.  We can view it again at our leisure, and save it in a good place to look back upon later.  It is fun to guess which baby picture belongs to which 12th grader!

It came to commencement of Class 2023 finally.

We're sorry that we could not take part in it, but with the love and mercy from our Lord.

Pastor Daniel and his wife, Kiyo had attended the final day.

It meant a lot to CBel, and us as well.

We're appreciate that our Lord has put angels around CBel to protect her, to comfort her, and listen to her so close.

God hath not promised skies always blue.

It's a good sunset environment at the beginning of the commencement, but turned out a drizzle falling...

We're heart melted when we received all the photos taken from Pastor Daniel.

He did his best to take as many photos for us as he could 😄

It started to rain outdoors so all students, teachers, and guests had to go into the auditorium!

Daniel took a photo together before they all went inside. So sweet!

He had to make the choice between video or photos when CBel got her diploma, so he took a video and the pictures come from the video so they’re not as clear but that’s definitely perfect for us.

Daniel's comfort made us burst into tears.

"I know it's difficult to be so far away. It's our honor to represent you both and be here for her. A privilege to be with her. She means a lot to us also."

We thank Daniel and Kiyo look after our baby, and accompany her the precious moment.

A new challenge is chasing after CBel, but we are so sure that we could see God's leading in CBel's time there, even with the difficulties.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

We thank Agnes, Michael, Aiken, Andee, their friends and even CBel herself to experience a very challenging stage of life.

Had they (Agnes and Michael) not, CBel could never have a chance to study in USA.

Had they not, we and CBel would never have known Daniel, Kiyo, their family and brothers and sisters in her fellowship.

Out of our expectation, CBel even had a proper Sunday services and gathering time regularly.

We're so glad that CBel got baptized

A huge mercy and grace from our mighty God to give her to follow the path Jesus custom-made for her.

CBel will miss them so much and we are sure that each of them will be occupied in her lifetime memory.

DC Commencement 2023:

Whoever knows her and loves her, please give her strength in your prayers.

May God show her the way, help her has the wisdom to make the right choice. 🙏
